Pricing seemed reasonable until you considered the limited dining experience due to service hours, leaving guests stranded without alternatives.

during our recent birthday celebration, we stayed in a family room that exceeded our expectations. the outdoor space was perfect for our child and our dog, allowing for lots of playtime. the massive cooked breakfast was a delightful treat each morning, making for a wonderful experience.

A charming country pub with an inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day of walking. The food was exceptional, featuring a delightful blend of fresh ingredients, including assorted fruits, and each meal was beautifully presented. The room offered ample space and a fantastic shower, enhancing the comfort of the stay. while the pub experience was remarkable, some rooms felt a bit basic, lacking in modern touches.

the ship inn is a great spot when walking the sandlings walk. it has a charming local vibe, good beers on tap, and a nice breakfast selection. the fridge in our room was an excellent addition. it’s also just a short stroll from local attractions, making it super convenient.

Staying in the Standard Twin Room was pretty good. The beds were comfy, and the bedding was spotlessly clean. It’s a bit outdated, but everything worked just fine. The space was adequate, though I wished it had a few more charming details for a cozy touch. The room was quiet, which was a highlight for sure.

I found the breakfast arrangements confusing. Only a continental option was available in the room, which was different from what I expected. Despite these drawbacks, I had a nice time overall and appreciated the efforts of the staff.

Rooms need a thorough clean!!! Inconsistencies with service were frustrating, especially regarding access to the dining area during later hours!!! Parking is a nightmare when events are on, better management needed!!!

Had a lovely stay for 4 nights! The atmosphere was super cozy, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The meals were spot-on quality, especially the fish stew! Only thing was it got pretty busy at dinner, so felt a bit rushed. But overall, really enjoyed my time here!
